Leadership Coaching

The most important leadership work happens beneath the surface — in the inherited beliefs, unexamined patterns, and stories about success that quietly shape every decision we make.

Alina works with leaders one-to-one, helping them to understand and re-author those stories, so they can lead with greater clarity, integrity, and authenticity. Her approach is narrative-led, deeply personal, and grounded in over two decades of working at the intersections of systems change, organisational narrative, employee engagement, and communications for change.

Coaching engagements are conducted via Zoom video calls and tailored entirely to the individual. Alina works with a small number of clients at a time.

Alina is currently nearing completion of her professional coaching certification programme through the International Coaching Academy, an ICF-accredited training provider.

Workshops & Facilitation

Alina designs and facilitates workshops for leadership teams and organisations navigating complexity, cultural change, or a desire to lead differently. Drawing on her background in narrative strategy, systems thinking, and leadership development, her workshops create space for the kinds of conversations that rarely happen in meeting rooms. Conversations that are honest, reflective, and embracing of the complex environments in which we work.

Topics include integrated leadership, authentic communication, organisational culture and narrative, and leading through volatility, uncertainty, change and ambiguity.

Alina is a certified Emotional Leadership Practitioner of the Emotional Culture Deck, an interconnected set of tools, conversations, rituals and design methods that help people name, express, and shape emotions at work.

Speaking & Performance

Alina is an engaging and thought-provoking speaker on leadership, narrative, systems change, and what it means to lead well in a complex and rapidly changing world. She speaks from genuine experience, having worked across politics, entrepreneurship, infrastructure, and global impact leadership communities, and brings an unusual combination of intellectual rigour and human warmth to every stage.

As a former New Zealand National Poetry Slam champion, she occasionally weaves spoken word poetry into her speaking engagements, embracing audiences at the heart level as well as the head.
